Spring Landscape in Watercolor Workshop |

Linda J. C. Turner of Laurelwood Art Studio instructs this workshop focused on panoramic and close-up landscapes. Any experience level welcome. The workshop will be conducted in a studio setting and also outdoors, weather permitting. Registration is required. Package available.
Workshop starts on Thursday and concludes Saturday afternoon.

Master Naturalist Trail with Gary Niezgoda and Dorothy Hood |
| Winter snows have melted and it's time to get out and enjoy a leisurely spring walk to discover spring wild flowers, trees and shrubs. Look for blossoms as well as other wonders of the trail and forest.Gary and Dorothy will provide helpful information and that it will stimulate additional study of plant life. Approximately a two hour walk beginning at 10 a.m. Meet at Tygart Lake Lodge. For additional information, call (304) 265-6144. |

2nd Annual Benefit Pleasure Ride |
Come bring your horse and trail ride at Tygart Lake State Park. This a guided ride. We will ride on our new trails; enjoy the views of Tygart Lake and nature. Come relax, cookout after the trail ride. Trail ride will begin at 11:00 AM. Registration will start at 9:00 AM.
Must register and sign release form. Entry fee $10.00 per rider. Covers ride and cookout.

Come enjoy a Dinner Theater with Bil Lepp, as a comedic storyteller and humorist liar. Five time champion of the West Virginia Liars Contest and has been a Featured Teller at the past seven National Storytelling Festivals and at the Smithsonian Folk Life Festival.

Youth Fishing Derby |
Bring the kids! Begins at 7 am. All participants receive a certificate. Details posted online.
- Free Fishing Day – no fishing license required for anyone.
[June 13 and 14 is the 20th year for free fishing days in West Virginia]
- Bank Fishing Only – no boats allowed.
- Adults Welcome – bring your children; you may fish for free also.
- Four Age Divisions – 7 years old & younger; 8 to 10; 11 to 14; & 15 to 18 years old.
- Prizes!! 1st thru 5th place in each age division plus certificates.
- Misc: Fishing-guys-&-gals responsible for their own equipment and bait.
Power bait NOT allowed.
Children must be accompanied by an adult or guardian.
- Food & Drink: A concession stand will be on site throughout the day.

Garry Boothe: Magician and Balloon Artist
4:00 PM at the Park Office/Recreation Hall.
Garry Boothe is a magician and children's entertainer, and performs magic and balloon art with a twist. A Great Family Entertainer! Bring your chairs and blankets. A concession sale (hotdogs, chips, beverages, and more) on site. After the show, Birthday cake for everyone.
Stepping Stone
Stay and enjoy live music, from 6:00 PM-8:00 PM. Top quality, variety music!

Women’s Writing Workshop w/ Colleen Anderson |
 Have you ever thought of writing a memoir for your children, a novel about your ancestors, or a poem dedicated to your best friend or your first love?
Writer Colleen Anderson will lead our Women's Writing Weekend. The weekend package includes two nights lodging, all meals and the workshop sessions. Executive Suites and cabins are available upon request, for an additional fee.
