A three day event with a variety of activities, entertainment and fun. Open to the public.

Silent Auction w/ a variety of artwork, photography, gift items;
Photography Show and Contest (contact park for details)
Wine and cheese tasting with Kirkwood Winery and West-Whitehill Winery
Special Spring Hop Dinner Menu – 5 p.m. – 8 p.m.
(entrees are Bar-B-Q ribs, broiled cod, spiral baked ham)
Band: ‘Stepping Stones’ playing from 8 p.m. – 10 p.m., free band and dance

2008 - Special Hikes at Tygart Lake |
Join Master Naturalist Gary Niezgoda and Dorothy Hood for these special hikes. Hikes will depart from Tygart Lodge. Open to the public. No charge for attending. Hikes will depart at 10 a.m. Learn about the flora and fauna at Tygart Lake and the Taylor county area.

Spring Landscape in Watercolor Workshop |

Linda J. C. Turner of Laurelwood Art Studio is our instructor and the workshop focus is on simplifying compositions of both panoramic and close-up landscapes, including the lake, foliage and flowers; color mixing using the primary colors with emphasis on color temperature. Any experience level welcome. The workshop will be conducted in a studio setting and also out-of-doors, weather permitting. A list of needed supplies, daily schedule, and other details will be sent upon registration. Registration required. Package includes five meals, snacks, instruction and overnight accommodations. Women’s Writing Workshop – back by popular demand |
 Have you ever thought of writing a memoir for your children, a novel about your ancestors, or a poem dedicated to your best friend or your first love?
Writer Colleen Anderson will lead our Women's Writing Weekend. The weekend package includes two nights lodging, all meals and the workshop sessions. Executive Suites and cabins are available upon request, for an additional fee. Meals included with this package:
