Tygart Lake State Park Campground is open from mid-April through October weather permitting. The campground is located at the end of the park road, approximately three miles from the east entrance of the park.  The campground offers 14 electric sites and 26 standard sites for a total of 40 camping sites. We do not offer full hookup sites.

Each site has a fire ring and picnic table. Water is located at the fountain directly to the right of the check in office and at the fountain centered in the road circle at the end of the campground. The sewage dumping station is located at the far end of the swimming area parking lot, approximately one mile from the campground and is set up for dumping upon departure. The centrally located bathhouse offers hot showers and toilets for campers. Two trails lead from the campground to the lake side. One trail starts from the final campground parking area near site #33 while the other starts just below campsite 21.  Each trail is approximately 300 yards long, depending on current lake level.

Bagged ice, firewood, snacks and other amenities are for sale at the check-in station.
