Perched on a promontory overlooking the lake, Tygart Lake lodge has sixteen rooms two queen beds, color television, air conditioning and telephone.
We also offer four executive suites which feature 32" color televisions, dvd/vcr players, air conditioning, refrigerator, microwave, and sliding doors to a deck overlooking the lake. Two suites feature two queen beds while two suites feature a king size bed and sleeper sofa.
Tygart Lake Lodge is a smoke free facility.

Cabins
Tygart Lake State Park vacation cabin rentals Tygart Lake State Park offers 11 modern vacation cottages. Modern in design, the wood-paneled cabins feature fireplaces, electric and propane heat, modern kitchens and baths, and are completely furnished for housekeeping with cooking utensils, dishes, linens, towels and blankets. Cabin 11 is the only cabin with air conditioning.

Cabins can be reserved by the day, three-day weekends, four-day mid-week rentals and required weekly rentals on specific dates throughout the summer.

Tent Sites

Tygart Lake State Park Campground is open from mid-April through October weather permitting. Our campground offers 14 electric sites and 26 standard sites for a total of 40 camping sites.

Each site has a fire ring and picnic table. Water is located at the center of the campground and the sewage dumping station is located nearby. The centrally located bathhouse offers hot showers and toilets for campers. Reservations are accepted by mail, phone, and walk-ins. See Reservation Policies below. Bagged ice, firewood, snacks and other amenities are for sale at the check-in station..

Campground Reservation Policies:

Mail-in Reservations

Only mail-in reservations will be accepted from February 15 - March 14.
Reservations must be postmarked on or after February 15 or they will be returned.
All reservations will be sorted by postmark and opened at random.
A maximum of three reservations per envelope will be accepted.
Advance reservations for campsites that are accessible to persons with disabilities may be reserved from February 15 - March 14 (proof of disability must accompany the deposit).

Walk-in Reservations

Walk-in reservations will be taken and filled subject to availability on April 1.
Beginning March 15 all sites become available for all rentals.
